This Privacy Policy explains how Aurea Music Prize processes application data, finalist communication, competition administration and promotional consent.

2. Personal Data Collected

We may collect name, surname, email, phone/WhatsApp, country, city, nationality, date of birth, parent/guardian data for minors, category, instrument/discipline, biography, video links, score files, portfolio materials, payment status and competition communications.

3. Tools and Storage

Applications and communications may be managed through Tally, Gmail, Google Drive and internal VerboSound/Aurea Music Prize working files. Access is limited to Nicolò Giuliano Tuccia, jurors and authorized VerboSound collaborators where necessary for evaluation, administration or communication.

4. Purposes

  • Managing Preliminary Round applications and eligibility checks.
  • Reviewing artistic materials, biography, scores, portfolios and video links.
  • Contacting selected finalists and communicating results.
  • Managing Final Round confirmation, payment administration and invoices/receipts where required.
  • Publishing winners, finalists and official results where applicable.
  • Using participant materials for promotion only where specific consent has been obtained.

5. Legal Basis

Processing may be based on participation requests, contractual or pre-contractual measures, legal obligations, legitimate interest in managing the competition and consent where required, especially for promotional use of images, videos, recordings or biographies.

6. Retention

Application data may be retained for up to 24 months after the competition edition, unless longer retention is required for legal, fiscal, accounting or dispute-management purposes.

7. Minors

Applicants under 18 must provide authorization from a parent or legal guardian. Additional documentation may be requested before acceptance or publication.

8. Copyright and Promotional Use

Participants retain full copyright and ownership of their artistic materials. Aurea Music Prize may use submitted materials only for evaluation and administration unless specific promotional consent is granted by the participant or legal guardian.

9. Rights

Participants may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or information about their data by writing to aureamusicprize@gmail.com.

10. Competition Notice

Payment of a Final Round administrative fee confirms participation in the Final Round but does not guarantee any prize, ranking, booking assistance, concert opportunity, management agreement or career development outcome.
